Enjoy horse riding with a spooky twist at Slieve Aughty Cenre’s Halloween Festival. It's a spooky time at Slieve Aughty, with ghosts and goblins galore, haunted houses, Halloween tricks and treats, scary stories, costumes and face painting, horses and ponies to pet and ride, arts and crafts and the Howl-o-Ween Charity Ride.
A family event, enjoy the fresh air of autumn with a walk to the haunted house, and for the little ones go on a witch's walk (a short walk to Slieve Aughty's enchanted wood) and fill out your own Halloween nature journal.
Walks can be taken on foot or let our staff take the kids on ponies while you walk beside or relax with a tea, coffee, or organic glass of witch’s brew. Along the way count the ghosts or answer the silly riddles that help guide the way.
