Colombian singer Shakira is expecting a second baby with footballer boyfriend Gerard Pique.
The Hips Don’t Lie singer confirmed the wonderful news in an interview with Cosmopolitan Mexico, saying, “The truth is that yes, I am pregnant.”
The couple already have one son together, 18-month-old Milan.
There’s no word yet on the due date, but Shakira was already showing subtle signs of a bump when she performed at the World Cup closing ceremony last month, with many speculating that her dress had been designed with a growing stomach in mind:
Although she made an incredible body transformation after her first birth, the singer revealed recently that it wasn’t easy. “It was a shock, the first time I looked in the mirror after giving birth,” she told the German edition of Women’s Health magazine. “You wonder whether it’s even possible to look the way you did before.”
