Nowadays, it seems that all news is bad news until a story like this goes viral and restores our faith in humanity!

A Belfast mother was looking for a Nutribullet to help create healthy supplements for her mum, who is suffering from stage 4 oesophageal cancer, and was not expecting to be at the receiving end of a very kind stranger.

Not being able to afford the £130.00 price tag on a new product, Cara Grace Duggan took to Gumtree to see if she could find a cheaper one.

When she stumbled across one at a reasonable price from a seller who was based in London, she sent them a text to see if it was still available.

Wanting them to ship it to Belfast, the mum explained her situation, mentioning that her mum wasn’t well.

The advertiser’s response which has subsequently gone viral will warm your heart up today:

Talking to UTV, Cara said: “Mum had been getting better, but the last few days she was really sick. After this random act of kindness, she now feels stronger – it was the boost we all needed.”

Ever since the post went viral donations have been flooding in the help her mum in her battle with cancer.
