Facebook is a great way to share your pregnancy story with family and friends you don’t see regularly. But everything you put up there is not going to be a true a reflection of your journey; you’re not going to put up pictures of your swollen feet or post about how you are feeling nervous.

While we share these things with people who are close to us, most of us have either said a few lies or chosen not to tell certain things on Facebook!

1. You don’t care if it’s a boy or girl

Although, as well as being healthy, most mums secretly hope it is one or the other!

2. You feel incredible

Even though you’ve spent the morning with your head down a toilet bowl!

3. You love being pregnant

Ok, some women do love being pregnant, but most of us go through times when we just wish Baby would hurry up!

4. You love every gift you’ve been given already

When in fact you are secretly planning on giving away or selling a few not-so-cute outfits...

5. You’re not nervous

No matter how many times you have gone through the whole labour experience, most mums will be feeling a little nervous, especially in the last week!

6. You haven’t settled on a name

When secretly you have found one, but are afraid to say anything in case someone says something.

7. Pregnancy is amazing

Yes, it is amazing, but it’s still really hard. But you don’t want those other mums who claim it’s amazing to think you aren’t ok.

8. You are only eating healthy foods

You’re just not sharing the fact you ate an entire piece of cake!

9. You are still able to do everything

Right up until your 35/36 week you probably will, but after that it’s all lies!

10. You can wear your normal clothes

You just don’t let everyone know that the top button on your jeans is open.

At the end of the day though, you only have to share what you want to share!
