Ten-year-old Esther Okade has made a real splash in the world of mathematics after enrolling in an Open University course and coming top in her class.

The little girl with a head for figures has opened up about her achievement, admitting: “It’s the type of maths I love. It’s real maths- theories, complex numbers, all that type of stuff. It was super easy. My mum taught me in a nice way.”

And young Esther, who has been doing quadratic equations since the tender age of four, has no intentions of stopping now!

The highly-gifted youngster already has her eye on the future, enthusiastically admitting: “I want to finish [the course] in two years. Then I’m going to do my PhD in financial maths when I’m 13.”

And it certainly seems like the the flair for figures runs in the Okade family with Esther's 6-year-old brother Isaiah planning to sit his first A-level exam this summer!

Opening up about her long-term goals, Isaiah's sister says: “I want to have my own bank by the time I’m 15 because I like numbers and I like people and banking is a great way to meet people.”

Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, the talented Frozen fan admitted she was always very eager to pursue a college career, revealing: “I actually wanted to start when I was seven. But my mum was like, “You’re too young, calm down.'"

This is one little girl who’s going to go far!
