A 14-year-old boy has tragically died after falling from a hotel balcony.
It is understood that the Irish youth fell from a second-floor balcony in Majorca last night.
The boy was rushed to the paediatric intensive care unit at the Son Espases Hospital, but was pronounced dead early this morning.
Reports claim the boy lost his balance when standing on a chair on the balcony.
His mum tried to hold onto her son as he fell, but he suffered severe injuries despite her best efforts.
The hotel has declined to comment on the incident.
