Having a sick child is something that every parent dreads.

That's what happened to Yavanna Keogh, who runs the beauty blog MakeupMonster.ie.

The Dublin blogger revealed earlier in the year that her four-year-old son, Oscar, had been diagnosed with Diffuse Inartistic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).

DIPG is a rare and aggressive brain tumour that has, unfortunately, no known cure at the moment.

Yavanna has been sharing her story on social media and recently took to Instagram to post a gorgeous picture of herself, Oscar, and her partner Lar.

She captioned it, ''Merry Christmas everyone. Having the best day with the best people.''

Yavnna's heartwarming post showed the trio smiling widely as they celebrated Christmas in August.

Yavanna then uploaded another image, this time just of herself and Oscar cuddling and giggling in the (fake) snow.

She wrote, ''there was so much magic to be found yesterday in a single day and isn’t that what each day should be, a tiny adventure, quiet or loud, to be discovered and cherished with the people you love most.''

People commented on the post saying, ''looks like you had a truly magical day'' as well as, ''so much love in a photo.''

You can feel the love and happiness radiating from the photo and it gave us the fuzzy feels.

It just shows you that when you have your family surrounding you, every day can be Christmas.
