Admitting that it’s two-and-a-half-year old son Parker who gives her the strength to get through her job each day, she went on to share a beautiful story showing her toddler’s compassion in action.
“Yesterday was one of my harder days. And I think he knew I needed a pick-me-up. After I picked up Parker from day care, I looked back and said, ‘Ready, Bud?’ He stuck out his hand and said, ‘Mom, hand? Hold?’ So I reached back to him and he grabbed my hand, squeezed it, and held it tight,” she said, sharing a photo of the gorgeous moment.
She added: “All the way home, 22 minutes, he never let go. He was there for me, when I needed him.”
