This has been quite the week in terms of celebrities revealing the sex of their babies, and the latest star to join the list is actress and presenter Tamera Mowry-Housley.

The star, who announced the news of her pregnancy last week, revealed that she is having a baby girl during the taping of her show, The Real, yesterday.

While the 36-year-old had previously said that she didn’t want to find out the baby’s sex, her co-host on the show, Tamar Braxton, couldn’t resist telephoning Tamera’s husband Adam Housely to try to tease out the information.

The excitement clearly proved too much for Tamera, who is already mum to two-year-old son Aden, and she took the phone to inform her husband that she was ready to find out the big news.

Posting a photo of herself cradling her bump against a pink screen, the star tweeted: “IT’S A GIRL!! Adam revealed the gender of our baby and I couldn’t be more excited!”

Tamera announced last week that she and Adam are expecting their second child, tweeting at the time: “We are thrilled to announce we are #ClearblueConfirmed! Can’t wait to meet baby #2!”

Earlier this week actress and model Molly Sims revealed that she is also expecting a baby girl, with reality star Jessica Hall announcing that she and husband Kyle Carlson are set to welcome a daughter, too.
