It was a busy and rewarding night for the National Ambulance Service crews as they welcomed three babies to the world.

These babies were in a rush and the mums were just along for the ride.

The NAS call centre staff provided instructions for emergency childbirth procedures over the phone to the expectant parents.

With one baby born in Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow overnight, the NAS are spreading the joy right around the country.

And you'll be glad to hear all the mother's and their babeis are said to be doing well.
