While three-year-old Mariah Woods' whereabouts remain unknown, an arrest has been made in connection to her disappearance and it is believed she is deceased.

She was reported missing this week after her mother Kristy tucked her into bed at 11:30pm on Sunday night, to find that she was not there the next morning at about 6:45am.

Kristy's boyfriend, Earl Kimrey, was arrested by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office and FBI on Friday. He was charged with concealing of death, obstruction of justice, 2nd degree burglary, felony larceny, and possession of stolen property.

The 32-year-old man was living with Kristy and Mariah in their home. He is currently being held in Onslow County Detention Center on a $1,010,000 bond and it is not known whether Earl has entered a plea.

In light of new evidence, the Onslow County Sheriff's Office now believe Mariah to be deceased. They are looking to recover her body now.

The mother spoke to local news station Channel 12, telling them, "My last memory of her was feeding her and putting her to bed. I told her I loved her and she loved me."

Mariah's father, Alex, heard that his daughter was missing when an Amber alert went out on the radio.

"It’s unreal. It’s a nightmare," he said to local station WCTI-12, "You hear about this stuff all the time but you never think it’s going to happen to you or your kids."

Alex found the situation suspicious, saying, "Someone just walked right up in there, grabbed the 3-year-old out of the bed and she didn’t cry, she didn’t scream? Nobody heard anything? Four people in the house, two adults and two kids someone just comes up and snatches the baby and walks out?"

It has been asked that anyone with information regarding her disappearance contact Onslow County Sheriff’s Office at 910-455-3113 or Crime Stoppers at 910-938-3273.

Our deepest sympathies for Mariah's family.
