Rugby player CJ Stander has revealed that he is set to become a dad for the first time. The sportsman confirmed the wonderful news in quite the adorable Instagram post.
The 28-year-old revealed that they will be welcoming their first child in August 2019.
He shared a photo of him and his wife Jean-Marie with their two dogs. At their feet a sign read: ‘For this child we have prayed. Baby Stander due Aug ‘19.’
The dad-to-be captioned the image: “On this Valentine's Day there is no better time to say, our hearts have been stirred.”
He continued: “For this child we‘ve prayed & our prayers have been heard.”
The rugby star gushed about their family news: “With gratitude & excitement, we can say there is a Stander baby on the way! #werepregnant #StanderBaby”
Fans showered the parents-to-be with loving messages following the delightful announcement.

The Munster rugby player married Jean-Marie in a stunning ceremony in 2013.
