The Christmas festivities are now over, which means it’s time for New Year’s resolutions, re-evaluating our finances and staying in on those long, cold nights. But January doesn’t need to be gloomy…it’ also the perfect time for you and your family to escape with an exciting film, or get stuck into a great new TV show – and Netflix has plenty to choose from!

We want to know what you’ll be watching on Netflix to beat the January blues. Are you enjoying the quirky police comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine? Perhaps you’re catching up on House of Cards in preparation for season 3 in February? Maybe you’ll be indulging in an episode of Breaking Bad?

We’d also like to know what your kids love watching on Netflix. Are the little ones obsessed with Spongebob Squarepants? Do they wind down before bed with a Disney film like Toy Story 3 or Brave? Or maybe your teenager is hooked on Gossip Girl? Whatever it is, we’d love to hear about it!

Tell us how your family will be using Netflix to beat the Winter blues, and be in with a chance to win a Playstation 4 and 1 year Netflix subscription.

Since Christmas we have been watching a movie on Netflix every weekend, most recent one was Fargo - what a brilliant movie, I saw it years ago and enjoyed it, but it's even better the second time round. The Coen brothers are so clever. Have also watched Donnie Brasco, Capote and Arbitrage which were all very good.

My son loves Fireman Sam - LOVES it. We watch it over and over and over and over. And over. It's a good thing though, becuase I have a 2 month old who needs my constant attention. During the night feeds I get to catch up on my boxsets - House of Cards is my current viewing and it's brilliant.

My husband is watching Hannibal, but I cannot stomach it, #nightmares The kids will watch pretty much anything from Disney movies, to TV shows, I don't mind anything they watch, in fact I sometimes get a brief catnap when they're quiet (thank you Netflix). I have just started watching The Tudors, which is really good.

When the kids have friends back to the house they love looking through Netflix and deciding what to watch. They each get to choose, and I normally cook pop corn for them. It's really nice to have a house where kids enjoy coming back to, and always having somehting to entertain them.

I absolutely love Suits, it's such a brilliant show and pretty easy on the eye too :) My daughter loves watching Barbie. The hubby doesn't really get a look in to be honest, but he does enjoy Suits. Not sure about Barnie tho ha ha ha

My daugher really loves Make it or Break it, the younger kids watch Pingu and Barney. I'm watching Breaking Bad - starting watching it last year, but couldn't really commit, I'm really enjoying it now.

Ooh I love Netflix, actually everyone in our home does, I'll spend an evening watching an episode of a show that takes me far away from cold rainy Ireland being a mammy to being a grown up again thinking I'm joining in with the likes of Walt and jesse in breaking bad or travelling along with ewan and charley in the long way round, my partner will watch it's always sunny when playing Computer games and together we will cuddle up and watch films of an evening or being transported around the world with David Attenborough when our toddler is in control he loves to watch Thomas the tank or Toystory, and when he's really adventurous he loves walking with dinosaurs, also introduced my parents to it and they love catching up with shows.

I'd be lost without Netflix especially in these winter months with two young kids. Netflix has saved me so much money as I got rid of most of my sky packages and I have the basic package and use netflix for our entertainment purposes. I'm loving The Good Wife, Breaking Bad and House of Cards. The kids love the movies Toy Story is huge in our house, so is spongbob, Mickey Mouse and Thomas The Tank Engine. I have the girls around every second Saturday and we order a takeaway and watch a good girly movie. There is so much to choose from saves paying Sky to rent a movie on the sky store. Love Netflix it's a godsend in my house.
