Recently, we reported on Janet Street-Porter’s astonishing comments about young Prince George, and now the tot’s mother has received some rather unusual ‘advice’.

Celebrity stylist Nicky Clarke has come in for major criticism on social media this morning, after criticising the Duchess of Cambridge for occasionally exposing grey roots in her hair.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Nicky said: “Kate needs to get rid of her grey hair – it’s not a good look. She does have amazing things done to her hair and it can look great, but unfortunately it’s the case for women – all women – that until you’re really old, you can’t be seen to have any grey hairs.”

He went on to rather dramatically claim that grey hair on the mother-of-two would be “disastrous”.

We’re not surprised to see that people have reacted angrily this morning to Nicky’s comments, with many taking to social media to let their feelings known.

“Nicky Clarke claims Kate’s greying hair is a disaster! What a sexist thing to say,” wrote one Twitter user, while another branded him a ‘walking haircut’.

Meanwhile, another person observed: “Nicky Clarke what a joke! Didn’t it dawn on you that perhaps Kate elected to avoid hair dye during pregnancy?”

We can’t see this controversy dying down any time soon!
