For many mums pregnancy is a breeze with no complications conceiving or carrying their little one.

Sadly however, this is not the case for every woman, something this UK mother is all too aware of.

Sarah and Mark Brennan were finally able to celebrate after tragically suffering ten miscarriages in ten years, when they welcomed little baby “Eryn” into the world.

And while they are over the moon now, this is a story that really tugs at the heartstrings.

Not long after the couple decided to resort to IVF and 36-year-old Sarah was placed on the waiting list, she discovered that she was pregnant, according to WalesOnline.

However, much like her ten year journey to conceive, her pregnancy wasn’t plain sailing and the mum-of-one’s waters broke at 29 weeks. Sarah had to be closely monitored in hospital for two weeks before her “miracle baby” was born seven weeks early.

Little Eryn weighted just 3lbs 11oz and had to spend three weeks in hospital before being allowed home.

Talking to the news site, Sarah said: “The care in SCBU was excellent. What they do there is just amazing. Although Eryn was born nearly two months early, she is a right little bouncer now. You would never think she was a premature baby.”

Little Eryn is now one-year-old and to mark her arrival Sarah has nominated staff for a charitable donation.

What a wonderful story of hope and strength.
