This is a fun way to teach children how to look after animals.

What You’ll Need:
Teddy bears
Cardboard boxes and shoeboxes
Blankets
White jacket
Bandages

The Game:
  • One child can be the vet and the other can be the pet owner. There can be a few owners and some veterinary assistants depending on the number of kids.
  • The vet can wear the white jacket or coat.
  • The pet owner brings a stuffed animal to the vet and makes up symptoms.
  • The vet can cure the animal with bandages or keep it in overnight for ‘observation’. Use shoeboxes as beds for animals that are being kept in the veterinary hospital.
