Parenting is a real learning curve, and we can all attest to that – but some take to the basics a lot smoother than others! This has been proven wonderfully this morning by a mum on photo-blogging site Imgur.
The mum, known only by the username ‘Laureeadeline’ took to the site to share a hilarious ‘dad fail’ involving her daughter Olivia and husband Jeremy.
So, from the text exchange uploaded, we can see that Jeremy was tasked with a seemingly straightforward job recently: to dress adorable tot Olivia for daycare.
But, as the exchange and the photo show, Jeremy only managed to pull off a half-decent job as, while he selected a lovely pair of overalls for his daughter, he forgot to put anything under them!

Naturally, Olivia’s mum was a little perplexed and amused when she went to pick her up at home-time and found her only half-dressed!
“Did you send Olivia to daycare without a shirt on?” she texted Jeremy, who responded, “Uh, I sent her with that thing on.”
And Jeremy’s reaction to finding out that ‘overalls’ tend to be layered ‘over’ something has just left the internet in hysterics: “Uhm, I gotta plead ignorance here.”
As amusing as we find this, we can’t be tough hard on Jeremy – we have all been that soldier!
