Dealz has issued an urgent recall for their Heated Hugs product due to safety concerns.
The recall, which was announced yesterday, was issued following the discovery of incorrect instructions on the Heated Hugs packaging.
Apparently, there is a risk of the product overheating due to the faulty directions.
They stated, “There is a risk that the pouch could overheat whilst in the microwave and as we take the safety of our customers seriously, we have taken the decision to immediately remove the product from our shelves.”
"Despite loving huggable animals, we’re very sorry to any customers for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation," they added.
The store has urged buyers not to use the toy, and those who have purchased it should return it to their nearest Dealz store, even if you don’t have a receipt.
They added that customers will get a full refund, and those who have any concerns regarding the recall can phone their customer service team on 0333 234 1877.
