I knew the dettol brand & I have tried it before but didn't like the smell.
I found using the kitchen spray was brilliant it even took a jam blob off the counter without scrubbing! I have black counter tops & find it hard to get a product that will not smear the finish. But Power & pure did not leave behind any residue. The wipes were great cleaned equally as good as the spray. I'd prefer using the spray in the kitchen as there is so much surface area to clean. They would be very convenient for smaller areas/spills. I prefer the spray as I feel I'd be getting more value for money from the spray but the wipes are equally as good at cleaning.
I found the Dettol Power and Pure bathroom spray was great at getting soap scum off the sink. Did not feel like I was scrubbing at all. Made cleaning the bathroom much easier & better smelling than the bleach I usually use. Surfaces were gleaming after using it. The bathroom wipes were fantastic for cleaning around the otside of the toilet seat & very convenient. It saves me throwing out a cloth I'd ususally use everytime too so better for the environment! I prefer using these to the spray in the bathroom. I much prefered the wipes for the bathroom as they clean great & are disposable. I find it a much more hygienic & convenient way to clean my bathrooms.
I loved that the Power and Pure range cleaned tough stains and surfaces with no residue left behind and no need for gloves, as I'm a busy mum with 4 little ones under 6 years old. I'm always on the run & often forget to wear gloves resulting in very sore & chapped hands from cleaning. After using the spray & wipes my hands were fine. My black counters are gleaming with no residue, it's fantastic :)
I do feel that the Dettol brand is synonymous with good hygiene, but you have now shown me that I don't have to have the old dettol smell as these products smell great. I would buy the power & pure bathroom wipes as they are very convenient & effective at cleaning soap scum without scrubbing. I would also buy the power & pure kitchen spray as it's a miracle worker at tough stains especially dried baby formula spills. Also as previously mentioned they leave my black counters black not streaked black & grey like other products.

I was aware of the dettol brand before but had never used their cleaning products.
The first product I used was the Dettol "Power and Pure" Multi-Purpose Kitchen spray and I loved it. It smelt lovely (not the usual strong, overpowering smells). Used it on my worktops and the hob. Didn't have to scrub at all, just left it for a few minutes and it wiped off very easily. The best thing for me was the fact it left no residue. Other products I have been using leave a lot of residue and my worktops are full of smears and streaks. This dried up very quickly and my worktops were gleaming. Found it great on the hob too, no effort to remove stains.
Dettol "Power and Pure" Multi-Purpose Kitchen wipes: I found these just ok. Would have liked if the wipe was a big bigger. I found that it doesn't clean as well as the spray. They would be ok for a small spillage or a small area of worktop that needed cleaned. Handy for a quick wipe around the place.
Of the 2 kitchen products I tested, I would use the spray again. Loved the smell and the ease I had in cleaning. No effort required and absolutely no residue left behind. A very gentle but effective product. Better value for money over the wipes as well. Definetly would not purchase the wipes.
Dettol "Power and Pure" Bathroom spray: I found this product great. It smelt nice, a light fresh smell. Again like the kitchen spray, not an overpowering smell. No effort needed in cleaning. It removed a couple of marks left in the bath from some bath toys. It left my taps gleaming. One of the best products I have used for bathroom. Again no residue with this spray.
Dettol "Power and Pure" Bathroom wipes: I much preferred these wipes to the kitchen wipes. Again though, I would have preferred if they were a bit bigger. I found these wipes left a bit of residue especially around the taps and I had to wipe with a dry cloth. That is maybe why they clean better than the kitchen wipes. They cleaned really well and I found them great for the toilet seat and more hygenic. Will certainly buy these again as so handy to have a pack in the bathroom for a quick clean.
Of the 2 bathroom products I used, I would purchase both. I would buy the spray and use it more often as better value for money. I will purchase the wipes & use them for quick cleans, especially around the toilet seat. Will use the spray for my general cleaning.

I knew about the Dettol brand and I have used Dettol before. I loved the spray, it had a nice smell and was very effective in cleaning my kitchen, it removed all dirt and grease without having to scrub clean, I have 4 kids under 8 so there is always something sticky to clean and it did a great job! I will be buying this product again.
The wipes were ok, they are great for a quick wipe down of a counter, they cleaned my surfaces with no problem but I preferred the spray, I found them abit too wet for me. I preferred the spray to the wipes, mainly because, for me, I find the spray cleans better and is better value. Very easy and effective to use, it didn’t smell bad and did not feel like I had to scrub the surfaces. For the bathroom, I preferred using the wipes, they were convenient and easy to use and cleaned easy without scrubbing.
I preferred the wipes in the bathroom as you could keep them in the bathroom and clean easily, I will be buying these again. I knew of Dettol and we use them all the time. The power & pure kitchen spray is great. It cleans my stove top quickly and with ease. I like the wipes, they're handy and quick. They're great in a pinch, but for greasy messes I prefer the spray, I feel it does a better cleaning job especially on grease,
I love the bathroom cleaner. It cleans great and doesn't have a strong smell like bathroom products do sometimes.
I like the wipes, they're very handy for us. We have 3 year old triplets, 2 of which are boys. So we're always cleaning around the toilet. These come in handy for that type of job.
I like both products, the spray is better for a deep cleaning though. I love this range and the fact that I didn't wear gloves and there was no burning on my skin,
Good hygiene, cleanliness and care is what I think of when I here Dettol. I would definately buy the sprays again for the kitchen and the bathroom, they do a very good deep cleaning. I'd probably buy the bathroom wipes too again, until my boys get better aim that is.

I knew the brand & I have used Dettol before I liked the product but felt it had a very strong smell
It was great. It removed chicken grease and dried in bologenese sauce. There was no lingering odour and I felt it was safe to put food directly onto the counter top without any smell getting on the food (i.e. Bread) The kitchen wipes were good. They are handy with having two young kids in the home. I.E. when they spill food or something on the floor or table, they are great for picking or wiping up easily. The only problem I have with them is that they are a little bit too moist. I prefer the spray I can control how much I use and it will last longer than the wipes.
I like the bathroom spray, my bath, toilet & sink are all white and it made them gleam with no residue left behind. I also like the subtle sent left behind. The wipes are great for cleaning inside and outside the toilet seat & bowl, but I felt they were too moist. I prefer the spray but also like the wipes for cleaning the toilet seat.
I liked this range and that it removed tough stains like a dried in bologenese stain with out scrubbing. I never wear gloves and my hands are very dry. I lked that they weren't bothered by this and didn't make them irritated. I always have felt that Dettol is synonymous with good hygiene etc. I love Dettol products and it's great to finally have one that leaves behind cleanliness with no ordours

I had heard of these products and I have used some of their products, mainly the kitchen wipes.
I was quite surprised when I used the multipurpose kitchen spray on my cooker top, I find it hard to find something to clean it without damaging it, the spray worked a dream, cleaned through the dirt and didn’t smear on the black glass of my cooker. I was very happy at how well the spray cleaned. The wipes were just as good as the spray, I felt that they clean the surfaces really well and they are so handy. I didn’t have to scrub too hard to clean dried on coffee on the work top. I found the wipes to be great for my baby’s highchair, when it needs a quick wipe over between meals. For handy little jobs the wipes are a must have for me.
I prefer the wipes for quick cleaning because it was less hassle to just grab a wipe and clean what needed to be cleaned

I found this range very good, cleaned through all stains that I used it on and I didn’t need to protect my hands from the cleaning product either. The only thing that I did find with the kitchen spray was that after I had used it on the cooker and then cooked I could taste the fragrance of the spray, the way you can taste a smell in your mouth.
I would buy all of these products again, the wipes for the kitchen were the upmost best for me while I have a young baby you makes loads of mess with his food.

Dettol was used in my home as a child and I currently use Dettol Complete Clean products in my family home now.
The Multi-purpose kitchen spray was fantastic at cleaning grease and surfaces, I was sceptical as to whether it would be as good as my other spray cleaner as it it has no harsh chemicals but it did a great job everytime, leaving a sparkling shine afterwards too. The wipes are so convenient, extremely handy when cleaning items with lots of nooks and crannies like my little ones babychair. I also appreciated that each single wipe came out of the pack easily without bringing the remaining wipes with it! They cleaned my surfaces and worktops easily, left a nice sheen and smelled great also! Even though I love the convenience of the wipes I preferred the spray bottle as I was able to use varying amounts of spray for each area.
The bathroom spray made cleaning my bathroom effortless. I had the job done in no time much to my surprise. I don’t think my bathroom was ever so clean and it smelled so fresh too.
I loved the bathroom wipes, I even used them on my glass table and they had it shining. Also found these wipes very useful when cleaning bathtoys! I like to be able to control how much spray I use each time so my preferred product was the spray bottle, especially on big areas like the bath, the spray bottle was extremely useful.
I can’t stand using gloves when cleaning so this range suits me down to the ground, I also have sensitive skin and to much my relief using Power and Pure didn’t adversely affect me in any way. It really is a great product range.
Dettol is an institution for cleanliness in the home. My mother used it everywhere in our home and because of that I also followed suit in my own. I’m just glad I can introduce her to the new range of products now that have all the cleaning power and no harsh residue.
I will definitely buy these products again. My preference was for the spray bottles so although the wipes were great too I will be buying the Dettol ‘Power and Pure’ Kitchen Spray and the Dettol ‘Power and Pure’ Bathroom Spray.

I had heard of the brand before and I had used Dettol products before
I found the kitchen spray product lovely to use, it smelt lovely and fresh and not overpowering as some cleaning products can be. It cleaned my Kitchen work surfaces without leaving a residue and left them looking like they were cleaned. I had been making banana bread with my 4 year old son and it cleaned through the mess without effort. I found that the Dettol Power and Pure Multipurpose wipes were very "wet" and left a lot of residue on the counter surfaces. I found I was wiping down the counters with Kitchen towel to dry them off after using the wipes which kind of beats the idea of convenience. I definitely prefer the spray not sure I would purchase the wipes. I definitely prefer the Spray as the wipes were very wet and left a lot of residue on the counter surfaces
I found the Dettol Power and pure bathroom spray great to use. I live in a house with 4 bathrooms (between ensuites main and downstairs loo) so I have a lot of bathrooms to clean, I found this product clean all bathrooms easy, and was effective and no harsh smells. All the bathrooms were gleaming clean when done and looked like they had all been cleaned. Product left no residue and left a nice clean fresh smell
I found that the bathroom wipes were also very "wet" to use and not really convenient to use as I had to rewipe everything after to dry them off. They also left some residue. I definitely preferred the spray. The wipes I found were very wet and bathroom surfaces had to be "dryed off" after using wipes

The kitchen spray came out in splatters rather than spray if that makes sense so i think i used more than i would with other spray nozzles,but aside from that i liked it, it was effective on worktops have a ceramc hob not great on that but didn't leave a residue or streaks and dried quickly.
The kitchen wipes were great cleaned just as good as the spray. I'd go through the wipes too quick as small pack and real easy just to reach for a wipe to clean loads of things, but if they are not too expensive think i would like a pack in my press at all times though they spent more time out of the press than in lol!

I never wear gloves and am forever getting bleachy chemical smells from my hands which dettol doesn't have its quite fresh and i often get very chappd hands because of this which i haven't got from dettol so it defo not as harshbut it definitely cleans as well .
Dettol is a long standing household name but more thought of disenfecting rather than cleaning not anymore !! Out of the four products I prefer the bathroom wipes they were just so handy and effective and great just to throw away although i flushed them and not sure if i should be no blockages !! i will also buy the others in the range again but the bathroom wipes will become a regular on my shopping list!

I have been using Dettol for years. Have to say it was great, it really cleaned off sticky, greasy messes. My 2yr old had stawberries and I was feeding the baby so I didnt get to wipe the place down immediately when I went into the kitchen I sprayed the Kitchen spray and I couldnt believe how all the red stains just vanished, it was great I actually love it.
It was so easy to clean everywhere, especially the messy sink after the kids and my bath was gleaming. I much prefer the smell of Dettol than the smell of Bleach and if dettol goes on ur hands or on ur clothes its much better than bleach. I love this product too.
I love this power and pure range and I will be continuing to use it, I am run off my feet with 4 kiddies and one being a 5mth old. I trust Dettol and wouldnt use or trust anything else in my kitchen especially with no residue left behind, my highchair and baby area is safe for my baby. Im a happy mammy so. I love Dettol and I actually though the original Dettol was great and smelled clean but this new Dettol is amazing it has the extra edge thats needed for busy homes and busy moms.
I would buy the kitchen spray number 1 as I found this great even my husband commented on how wonderful it was, I trust this with my baby so this is a very important factor. Number 2 would be the bathroom spray simply because it made life easier for me, I felt I didnt have to scrub as much I sprayed left it for a minute and then rinced it was so easy.

I had heard of dettol. I've used dettol in the past for cuts and scrapes.
I loved the kitchen spray. I usually go for cheaper brand sprays when shopping. But I have come to the conclusion that dettol spray is worth the extra money. I have black granite work tops which always dry in streaky. But I found they gleamed after using the spray and I didn't need to go back over it. Also my taps were shining and the kitchen smelled fresh and clean. It even cleaned the hob with ease. I used the wipes for the baby high chairs . They cleaned the surfaces and didn't leave behind any strong smell , I felt confident allowing my babies to eat off the surfaces soon afterwards. I found the spray to be the better of the two. It is more economical as I found I was going through the wipes at an incredible rate , and felt it was a bit wasteful.
The bathroom spray cleaned very well. Had a nice fresh smell. It did leave my taps a little streaky and I did rinse them afterwards. But after rinsing they were gleaming. I do have one gripe with the spray- the product is not dispered very well from the gun. It comes out with a very limited range, meaning that for cleaning large surfaces , like bath, you need to use a lot of product. I feel a better spray gun is needed. I loved the bathroom wipes. They cleaned the toilet well, I also used them on the taps and toothbrush holders. They are very convenient , and because they are disposable I feel they are a lot more hygienic than a cloth and spray. I definitly preferred the wipes, for hygiene and convenience .

There is no doubt that the dettol brand has been around since I was a child- it has a great name for disinfecting.

I knew the Dettol brand before this, i always use the wipes the lemon scent ones i love the smell. I also use the Dettol spray in the shower etc...
I loved the Kitchen spray it was very effective in cleaning the surfaces, the splashs from the frying pan and spageitti sauce came of so easily with one wipe, even though it was left there quite awhile after the dinner, loved the smell to. I really do love the wipes as they are so convinent and they are quite wet so they wipe a good distance of your counter top, i love both products but wipes can be an awful lot earier and quicker at times. I love the wipes but the spray is better value as it lasts much longer.
I love the Bathroom spray, it cleaned my bath tub brillant and my sink came out shining, and you could smell the product for ages after. The wipes were handy again as i went around the taps and toilet with them, very convenient. I like using the spray for bigger areas and wipes for smaller areas I love both but the spray is that bit better for bigger areas
My hands get very dry after cleaning with some products, they were fine with these. I always associate dettol with cleanliness,
I will probably always buy both the spray and wipes in both the kitchen and bathroom, as i just find at times when your in a hurry the wipes are great or just to clean up a small spillage etc, but the spray is great value as of course it would last much longer, love both products thank you for letting me try them out :)

I frequently use both Dettol kitchen spray and Dettol general purpose wipes especially in the bathroom.
The kitchen spray was very effective at cleaning general kitchen surfaces including work surfaces, cupboard doors, kitchen table and the cooker hob which I was really impressed with. I gave the whole kitchen a once over! The kitchen wipes were very good for a general wipe around and again for the cooker hob, it removed grease and spills with litle effort. The wipes were a little on the small side though so the spray would work out to be more cost effective on an on-going basis. I thought the wipes were good for smaller areas like the cooker hob or for spills but the spray is more effective for larger surface areas. Overall I would probably buy the spray again for general kitchen use. However, I think the wipes would be ideal when travelling especially with kids eg. I generally wipe down high chairs myself when we eat out before putting my 18 month old daughter in as she usually ends up eating it off the tray rather than her plate!. As these wipes do not leave a chemical residue they would be ideal for this.

It removed soap scum easily and cleaned the shower tray and door really well and there was no chemical smell you normally get with bathroom cleaners. On a daily basis I would normally use wipes to clean the bathroom and then give it a once over with spray once a week. With two young boys, cleaning the family sink and especially the toilet on a daily basis is a necessity! The wipes are ideal for this. However, unlike the kitchen wipes, I found the bathroom wipes did leave smear marks on the toilet seat which is black and I had to rub it dry with some kitchen roll. Surprisingly, I also cleaned some toothpaste off the mirror with the wipes but that dried smear free!
I prefer to use the wipes on a daily basis for covenience sake especially around the toilet as I wouldn't reuse a cloth used to clean the toilet anyway. I would prefer if the wipes were a bit bigger especially for wiping around the bathroom floor or bath. I would use the spray on a weekly basis to give the bathroom a good once over but overall I would use the wipes more frequently.

I have very sensitive hands and found my knuckles were a little red after use without gloves but I did clean two bathrooms and the kitchen one after the other. Other products would have left my hands in a much worse condition with that amount of use. I have since used the wipes on a daily basis for general spills and quick clean ups with no such effect. It is definately tough on stains and other than the afforementioned black toilet seat left no residue or chemical smell.

I knew the Dettol brand before signing up for this trail as I use Dettol No-Touch Hand Wash System and Dettol Surface Cleanser spray.
I liked the Power and Pure Multi-Purpose Kitchen spray. It has a nice smell and was effective in cleaning kitchen surfaces. I used this on my granite work surfaces and it did leave them shinning as usually other cleaners leave streaks but there were none. I also used it on my stainless steel appliances and it worked well but did leave some streaks on my stainless steel oven splash-back which I just wiped off with a dry cloth. It was great at removing all dirt and grease and I felt everything was nice and clean. I preferred using the spray as I found the wipes too small and but they did do their job. They were good to clean around the sink taps. They would be OK just for a quick clean as they are handy to use. I preferred using the spray as my kitchen is too big an area for wipes as I found them too small and I need too many of them.
I preferred the smell of the Kitchen spray to the Bathroom spray but found it did a good job on the shower and sinks. It did clean some stubborn marks in the shower which I was impressed with. Again I found the wipes too small but they did clean and I found them handy for cleaning around the toilet. They would be very handy to give the sink a quick clean. I preferred using the spray as it was more effective and again I was using to many wipes.

I would buy both sprays again as I found them good at cleaning. I may buy the bathroom wipes again to use for a quick clean of the bathroom sinks or to rub over the toilet but I don't think I would buy the kitchen wipes again as they were too small. If they were on special offer with the sprays I may purchase them for occasional use. I did appreciate the opportunity to try these products as it gave me the push to give the house a good clean. Now every surface shines!

the dettol power and pure wipes were just ok they were very wet and didnt appear very strong i wouldnt go out of my way to buy them, but they did clean but not as well as the spray.
i would prefer to buy the spray and i wouldnt buy the wipes.
