Mother-of-two, Nicole Richie has been sharing her words of wisdom in a recent interview.

When the designer isn’t busy with her label House of Harlow she’s at home looking after the inspiration behind the name, eight-year-old Harlow and seven-year-old Sparrow and she has one piece of advice to give a first-time mum.

“I would say, ‘Don’t let anyone touch your stomach’” she said in an interview with People.

The 34-year-old had clearly experienced the invasion of privacy on many occasions during her pregnancies saying, “Don’t let everyone think they have the right to just touch you, who wants that? Nobody.”

Feeling inspired, Nicole thought she’d share another thing she’s learned over the last eight years.

“There’s not one way to raise children,” she said.

“There’s not one way to be a mother. It really depends on your house and your lifestyle.”

“Oh my God, they make me laugh every day,”

“I’m always finding funny pictures [the kids take] on my phone of them that they take, and videos that they take.”

Happy Fathers Day!
