Eva Longoria married José 'Pepe' Bastón in May of this year despite saying she would never marry again after going through two divorces.
And now the former Desperate Housewives star is talking children as she gushes about her “soul mate”.
“When Pepe and I met, I said I didn't ever want to get married again," Eva told the latest issue of Ocean Drive Magazine.
“He said, "Great, me neither." And here we are!”
Describing her Televisa president husband as her “soul mate”, the actress said that they’re like “two sides of the same coin”.
"Pepe and I are soul mates—I don't even know how to explain it, because it's like we’re two different sides of the same coin."
The 41-year-old has been married twice before - to Tony Parker and Tyler Christopher – but doesn’t regret her past relationships, and sees them as her path to where she is today.
"Every wrong turn led you to the spot where you are, so it wasn’t necessarily the wrong turn at the time. I wouldn’t change anything – never."
And it’s not just her love life that she is keen to let unfold naturally. When it comes to having children, the star is very relaxed about it, and is happy to be step-mum to José kids three kids - Tali, 21, and 13-year-old twins Jose and Mariana - from his previous marriage.
"They are amazing children—I’m so happy to be part of their lives," she says.
And on having her own children: “If it happens, it happens - if it's meant to be, it would be a blessing."
