Earlier this month we reported on Bourn Hall, a fertility clinic in Peterborough, which extended an incredible offer to couples struggling to conceive, and this week there is further welcome news for those hoping to start a family.

Through its pre-paid Access Fertility IVF Refund Plan, the GCRM Belfast fertility clinic is offering a 100% refund to patients under the age of 37 who fail to conceive following three rounds of IVF treatment. - an increase from its original 70% refund.

The innovative three-tiered package, which included three rounds of IVF and transfer of all embryos, costs £8,800 for women under the age of 37 and £9,500 for women between 35 and 37, and guarantees a full refund if a patient fails to conceive after three rounds.

If, however, a couple is fortunate enough to fall pregnant on the first or second round of treatment, they will not receive a refund on the third treatment which was included in the initial cost of the plan nor will they be allowed to reserve any ‘unused’ cycles within the package.

Further to this, women aged between 38 and 40-years-old can avail of a 70% or 50% refund option while women who do not qualify for the plan on account of their age can avail of the Multi-Cycle Programme which allows patients two rounds of IVF treatment.

Patients who successfully conceive, but ultimately miscarry are entitled to any remaining treatment cycles within their Access Fertility package.

According to the clinic's website, eligibility for the IVF Refund Plan is subject to a medical review by Access Fertility.
