Tim Brummel was a little curious when his wife started acting “a little pregnant” eight months after he had a vasectomy.
“She was tired a lot, a little bit hungrier than normal even, felt a little bit nauseous.”
Starting to worry that maybe his operation wasn’t successful, Tim checked in with his doctors to find that he was right.
Devising a genius plan, Tim started by disabling the family’s toilet so it wouldn’t flush and used a pregnancy test after Rachel had gone to the bathroom the next morning.
And surprise, surprise, she was pregnant.
With a little note and a positive test, Tim waited for his wife to come home to film her reaction which was amazing.
Reading the note that said “If you ever worried that life would be a bore, put that fear aside – you are now a mommy of four,” Rachel looked both shocked and confused.
“Shut up! What did you do? For real?”
And while it may not have been planned, the parents seemed pretty delighted with the news.
But the story doesn’t end there.
Tim decided to continue to film their journey and waited until they found out the gender of their fourth child before posting the video.
With their three sons hoping for a little baby sister, the couple opened a box to find a pair of blue slippers signifying boy number four was on its way.
While their eldest son sounded disappointed, “not another boy,” mum and dad looked very happy with the news.
