Gardaí have issued a warning after a man was caught taking photos of children on the popular Banna beach in Tralee, Co. Kerry.


According to the Independent, the incident involving a man in his thirties, took place on Wednesday, 1st June.


The man in question, who was sitting on a blanket, was approached by a concerned mum who had noticed he was taking pictures on his phone in the direction of her children and their cousins.


However, he refused to stop taking photos and, according to a post on Facebook, “once he was finished doing what he was doing, he walked off, taking the empty buggy with him.”



Tralee Garda station are now warning the public to be vigilant when on the normally family-friendly beach.
