Our parents play such an important role in our pregnancies and the lives of our children, and it’s always lovely to see that marked in a special way.
This is what Ohio woman Kerstin Barnette had in mind recently, when she announced the name of her unborn child.
Kerstin has revealed how, after four years spent battling infertility and endometriosis, she and her husband discovered in June that they were expecting.
The couple went for their 3D scan at the end of August, and Kerstin’s father, Robert Paul, was there to witness the special moment they found out they are having a son.
Indeed, Robert already knew the baby’s sex ahead of the couple’s gender reveal party last month – but there was still a surprise in store for him: the name.
Uploading the name reveal to YouTube, Kerstin explained: “We had two names picked and ready, and our plan was, after we revealed the sex, we would have a cake come out with the baby’s name displayed on it.”
