A grandmother named Jean has become an internet sensation worldwide this week, after a video of her hearing her late husband Dennis’ voice once again was shared online.
According to the video’s description, Dennis and Jean had been married for over 50 years when he passed away.
Dennis would write letters to Jean while away with the army in which he would say, “You’re the best girl in the world for me”.
Before he died, Dennis recorded himself saying these loving words and got a voice feature installed in a teddy bear, so Jean would always be able to hear his voice.
Naturally then, Jean was left distraught when the teddy bear malfunctioned and stopped working.
In the following video, we see Jean – who has dementia – being surprised with a repaired teddy bear – and her reaction is just as wonderful as you could imagine.
