Earlier today, we reported how a TK Maxx employee’s random act of kindness made a mum’s day, and the same can be said for a server and a grieving couple in the US.

 

Debbie and Shaun Riddle were attending their regular haunt, The West Side Café in Texas, last week, when their server Kayla Lane asked after their daughter, Glory. The tot had been for a meal in the restaurant with her parents just a month before, but had tragically passed away in the weeks after.

 

When the Riddles informed Kayla of the devastating news, she made a touching gesture towards the couple by leaving a very special note when they asked for their bill.

 

The bill read: “Your ticket has been paid for. We are terribly sorry for your loss. God bless – The West Side.”

Clearly very moved by Kayla’s gesture, Debbie took to Facebook to share exactly what it meant to the grieving parents.

 

“We hear so much negativity on the news and so that is why I felt led to share this story in the hopes that Kayla and this restaurant will get some good recognition,” wrote Debbie.

 

This is incredibly moving. The Riddles are in our thoughts.
