We all know that tight schedules and chaotic mornings can lead to breakfast not being a top priority in many households. However, with studies showing that missed vitamins and minerals at breakfast are often not compensated for in later meals, it’s important to make time for it.

New Kellogg’s Mini Max is a great way to set your family up for the morning ahead. Delicious, crunchy little parcels of baked wholegrain wheat provide just the right balance between a breakfast that’s good for them and a taste they’ll love.

Mini Max is the new wholegrain, high fibre kids cereal from Kellogg's.  Kids love it because it tastes great and mums love it too because it's packed full of fibre, vitamins and minerals and it helps set the children up to make the most of their day.

Grain-based foods – such as Mini Max – play an important part in healthy diets. Grains are naturally low in fat and provide valuable carbohydrate energy, so it is easy to see why nutrition experts agree that grain-based foods, such as breakfast cereals, are the ideal basis for a healthy diet. Cereal grains form the foundation of a healthy diet for millions of people as they are rich in complex carbohydrates and are naturally low in fat.

Kellogg's Mini Max are tiny wholegrain wheat parcels with a smooth texture, specifically designed for children and it is available in Original and Chocolate flavours.

A 40g serving of Kellogg's Mini Max also contains
  • 3-3.5g of Fibre
  • At least 25% of the recommended daily allowance (RDA) for Vitamins such as thiamine, niacin, vitamin B6, riboflavin, vitamin B12 and folic acid
  • It also includes at least 25% of vitamin D which is essential for bone development.  It's difficult for our children to get enough vitamin D because sunshine is the main source which is something we are severely lacking here in Ireland
  • 17% of the recommended daily allowance for Iron
  • 7g of sugar

And you'll be pleased to know that Kellogg's Mini Max is also low in saturated fats and salt (<1% salt GDA per serving in the Original version and 3% salt GDA in the Chocolate) which is important when it comes to the cereals that we feed our children.

I have a six year girl that loves waking up so that she can get breakfast! I am always constantly changing her cereals trying to find one that she will not get bored of? Could Kellogg's Mini Max be the answer? Only one way to find out! Would love if she settled for a good wholegrain, high fibre breakfast like this. I am interested in being one of the reviewers for this!
