Holly Branson, the eldest daughter of Richard Branson, has double the excitement coming as she reveals that she is pregnant with twins.
She made the announcement on the Virgin website as part of an explanation of why she wouldn’t be taking part in the Virgin Strive Challenge.
"Well, Freddie and I are delighted to share the happy news that we are expecting twins!" Holly posted to the site.
The Strive Challenge is a fundraising event in which a group on 10 people try to reach the summit of the Matterhorn from London through a combination of running, rowing, cycling and climbing.
The money from the challenge will go to Big Change, a charity run by Virgin, which Holly is heavily involved in.
The twins will not only be the first children for Holly and husband Fred Andrews, who married in 2001, but also the first grandchildren for Richard Branson.
Richard proudly tweeted his daughter’s good news, writing:
"Thrilled to share @hollybranson and Freddie’s happy news. A very excited grandad-to-be!"
