It had been a long day when these police officers finally returned to their vehicle in Bredbury.
But, little did they know, something was waiting to cheer them up.
One officer found a small note on his windscreen beside a bag of sweets.
It read: “Thank you for all your hard work and for keeping us safe!
“Love from Starlyn, age two. Enjoy this little treat”.

The encouragement was exactly what these officers needed to hear, and they were beyond grateful for the thoughtful letter.
The police department proudly shared Starlyn’s words on their Twitter page.
“One of our officers came back to their police car yesterday in Bredbury to find a lovey note and a packet of sweets on the windscreen.
“Starlyn aged 2, we thank you for your sweet treat.”
The sweet gesture has already gained popularity, and there are many comments commending the toddler for her kind heart.
“It’s the little things that make the big difference”, said one person.
“How endearing!”, said another parent.
It is clear that Starlyn looks up to the police officers, and it is precious to see how much she values all they do for her.
At just two-years-old the young girl already has such a big heart.
