1. Look for local deals
Sellers who aren’t willing to post out usually get less bids, so you can swoop in there and grab a bargain.
2. Look for misspelled products
People often make silly spelling mistakes when trying to sell an item, making them go unnoticed in search engines. So be creative when looking for something – you never know what might pop up!
3. New items are sold as well
eBay is not just for picking up cheap, second hand goods, new items are sold on it every day. look for NWT (new with tag) in the description and you never know what you might find!
4. Do your research
Don’t just assume that the item you are bidding on is the cheapest on the site or somewhere else. If you feel you are paying a little much then don’t bid – you are more or less guaranteed to pick it up somewhere else for cheaper.
5. Don’t forget shipping and handling costs
Before you click bid make sure you check shipping and handling costs – while eBay do have a maximum limit it can really set you back.
