Irish company Johnston Mooney & O'Brien has issued a recall of all their bread with a best before date of 11 February 2018 due to the 'very small risk' that they may contain metal pieces.
They have clarified that no bun or roll products are affected and this is a precautionary move.
Johnston Mooney & O'Brien said that any potentially affected packs have been taken off supermarket shelves in cooperation with retailers.
Anyone who has a Johnston Mooney & O'Brien bread with the best before date of 11 February 2018 can return it to where they purchased it for a full refund.
Alternatively, people may also send the empty packaging, along with their address and name, to: Johnston Mooney & O'Brien, 11 Jamestown Road, Finglas, Dublin 11.
As well, any packs in distribution have been recalled.
The company apologises for any inconvenience caused by the recall.
