Everyone has been talking about the movie Fifty Shades of Grey ever since Jamie Dornan was cast as the lead role. And while many of us secretly want to go see the film, it is definitely not a movie that we would want our kids to see.

Unfortunately, a mix up in a cinema in Colorado meant that young kids, who were hoping to see a SpongeBob movie, were instead shown a screening of the adult-themed movie.

According to USA Today, MetroLux 14 theatre in Loveland showed the start of the talked-about movie to parents and kids who had booked tickets for The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.

Luckily for them, parents were more surprised than upset about the whole thing. Joe Jaramillo, who was there with his granddaughter, says that it was only the start of the movie that was shown and thought the parents reaction was the best part: "It was the parents' reaction to it that was so funny. Some were moving pretty fast to get the kids out of the theatre. The family sitting behind me said what I was thinking: 'Am I in the right theatre?'"

How they got it wrong is still a mystery - there is a bit of a difference between Mr Grey’s antics and SpongeBob’s adventures – but the screen quickly went blank before the audience finally got to see their movie of choice.
