Just days after the devastating attack in Nice, the world's thoughts and prayers remain with the French people as they try and cope with yet another horrific act of terrorism.
With three fatal attacks in the space of just 18 months, it seems the situation has become the reality for children living in France.
One young victim of the most recent attack in Nice has turned her terrible experience and turned it into an even more harrowing picture.
The nine-year-old girl has used art to share her account of what happened in Nice on Thursday night.

The picture shows identified terrorist, Mohammed Lahouaiej Bouhel driving the truck that took the lives of 84 people.
The heartbreak of what this little girl witnessed is evident as she draws a stick figure laying down after being struck by the vehicle.

With armed police and scared families also present in the image, this little girl captures a sign of hope as she includes an arrow pointing with the words "restaurant basement" where many people hid during the terrifying attack.

The image was shared by French journalist, Florent Peiffer on his Twitter account.
84 people were murdered during the horrifying rampage with 10 of those being children according to the French authorities.
