We were devastated when Maia Dunphy and Johnny Vegas confirmed that they separated earlier this year.
Back in May, the pair issued a joint statement revealing that they had gone their separate ways.
“It is with a heavy heart that we want to let you know that we separated some time ago last year. We are telling people now because speculation is unhelpful at best, and dangerous at worst.”
"As we think is obvious, we continue to fully support each other: there is no acrimony, no story and no one else involved,” they explained.
However, it looks like the couple has patched things up. Rumour has it Maia and Johnny are back together and we couldn’t be happier for the pair.
According to Barry Egan of the Independent, the couple decided to give their relationship another chance.
“Let's say someone so close to acclaimed author and broadcaster Maia that she can see her put her make-up on in the morning told me Maia and English comic god Johnny are reunited,” he wrote.
“And that joy is unconfined in both households and that this Christmas is going to be the best Yuletide ever for them and their young son, Tom,” he added.
The pair is known for keeping their private life out of the public eye so we won’t be expecting them to confirm the news in a heartfelt Instagram post.
We are overjoyed to hear that Maia and Johnny amended their relationship, especially so close to Christmas.
Maia and Johnny tied the knot in Spain back in 2011. The pair share two-year-old son Tom, together, and Johnny has an older son Michael from a previous relationship.
