A man in his thirties has reportedly been arrested this weekend, following the ‘serious assault’ of four children in Co. Wicklow.
According to reports, the man was detained last night after gardaí and members of the emergency services discovered the children in their home, in Blainroe.
The children, reportedly aged between three and 11 years, were brought to Tallaght Hospital for treatment for their injuries. Two of the children had to be airlifted to the Dublin hospital.
According to a report in the Irish Times, the children were the victims of a suspected strangling attempt.
