B. Raymond Buxton from California is a winner of one of America’s, largest Powerball jackpots. However, the lotto winner has become more famous for what he is planning to do with his winnings.

Buxton has won a total of $425 million but instead of spending it all on a new house or a car; the new millionaire has decided to set up a charity for kids with his lotto jackpot.

Buxton was originally not keen on the win, as he waited a month to collect his large cheque and hasn't revealed any details about himself including his age and address.

But the main reason Raymond waited so long to reveal himself, was the new millionaire had spent the past month in meetings with solicitors and financial advisers in order to establish bank accounts for a new charity for children.

"I'm going to enjoy my new job setting up a charitable foundation focused on the areas of pediatric health, child hunger and education," Buxton said on Tuesday in a prepared statement.

Raymond originally thought the lotto win was a joke but he now plans on putting his wins to good use.

"It's amazing how a little slip of paper can change your life."
