A mum-to-be has lost her life in Texas, US this week after being accidentally run over by her husband’s truck. Doctors were, however, able to save the life of her unborn child.
According to reports, the incident occurred after the woman and her husband got into an argument over money for repairs to his car.
Investigating officer Rolando Saenz told local media: “He was going to get it fixed later on, once he got more money, but she wanted it fixed now so she was demanding more money.”
“As he was leaving, she came to the driver’s door, held onto the door, the husband drives away, where she slips and falls, and the husband runs over her,” he added.
The woman was rushed to hospital, but tragically died from her injuries shortly after. Doctors were able to deliver her unborn child, however, and the baby boy is said to be in a stable condition. The child was delivered at 36 weeks.
