Unless you live in some remote area, it is very easy to meet other parents. The best way to meet other parents is to start talking to them. Whether at an art exhibition, at the supermarket, or outside an ATM, start talking to that mom or dad and who knows, you might become real bosom buddies.
Meeting other parents is easy. You will start talking about the obvious, your children, and this will definitely break the ice. You will only know each other by what you say about your respective children so, to get to know each other better, invite the new mom or dad for a cup of coffee and some adult conversation.
Another great way to meet other parents is to join a mother’s group. Even if you do not meet a friend for life, simply sitting with a group of other mothers and exchanging notes and being supportive of each other will do you the world of good.
