How many of us have total strangers to credit with helping us through a traumatic ordeal? The answer is most likely a lot, and one person who can now be added to that list is Jessica Shaw.

Jessica and her two children were left fearing for their lives after a tyre blowout caused their car to flip over last year, and she has credited an ‘angel’ who stopped to help with saving them.

Recounting her story to Yahoo! Parenting, Jessica revealed that she was left seriously injured at the side of the road after the accident. A number of passers-by stopped to help the family, but there is one man in particular whom Jessica is most grateful for.

Clad in blue scrubs, with a stethoscope around his neck, this man apparently saved Jessica’s life.

Speaking to local media, the grateful mum said: “If it weren’t for him, I would have lost my life. My kids would have lost their mother.”

While Jessica did not manage to catch the man’s name, a witness to the accident did capture a photo of him, and now Jessica has shared it in a bid to find this helpful stranger and thank him.

Describing him as a ‘true angel’, Jessica has appealed to anyone who might know him to come forward.

Knowing the power of the internet, we’re sure it won’t take long for the mystery man to come out of the woodwork.
