A mum has taken a novel approach to the annual warning against driving under the influence during the festive season.

Teleasha Cameron, from Australia, created a tongue-in-cheek ‘accident report’ involving ‘Bob the Builder’ and her son, Xavier.

Posting a photo collage of the ‘crash scene’, Teleasha reported back on the details of the crash, which occurred when Bob ‘attempted to avoid a sheep on the road, but was hit by a Little Tykes car’.

“Reports state [Xavier] was highly milk-drunk – roughly four times the legal limit – which caused the vehicle to swerve into the path of the walker,” she wrote.

Xavier’s mum added: “Unfortunately, Bob the Builder was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the Little Tykes car has been flown to hospital in critical but stable condition.”

While Teleasha joked that she would be saving the now viral post for Xavier’s 21st  birthday, she went on to issue a stark warning about the real-life dangers of drink-driving.

“As we all know, too many people have lost their lives on our roads this year. Please drive carefully and to the conditions of the road this holiday season,” she added.

It certainly is a novel way of relaying the message!
