62-year-old Lina Alvarez who gave birth to her third child on Monday, 10th October, hopes to encourage other mums to do the same, according to Time

 

 

The Spanish doctor, who has a two sons – Exiquio, 28, and Samuel who is ten - gave birth two weeks early and admitted she “couldn’t feel happier” upon leaving Lucas Augusti Hospital on Tuesday.

 

 

Like her second eldest brother, baby Lina (named after her mother) was conceived via IVF and was born by caesarean section.

 

Mum Lina, who is a doctor, urged others who were healthy to follow suit if they wanted a baby later in life. Encouraging women to let nature decide, she said they shouldn’t be afraid.
