It doesn’t matter how many books you’ve read or how much advice you’ve been given – there are some parts of parenting that you need to go through to understand, and Esther Anderson has illustrated this rather graphically this week!
Esther, a blogger at Story of This Life, took to her official Facebook page to share the after-shot of her three-month-old baby’s ‘blowout’ – and it looks exactly how she describes it!
In the photo, Esther’s tot’s babygro is stained up the back with poop; poop which has also found its way onto the blogger’s own shorts.
“Second blowout of the day, and let me tell you…this one wasn’t nearly as bad as this morning’s. Let’s just say Ellia might go back into her pull-ups for tonight,” wrote Esther, referring to her older daughter who is going through potty-training.
As you can well imagine, Esther’s raw insight into parenting has gone down a treat online, with her followers sharing their own similar experiences.
“Our baby girl had one right in the middle of Bible study this morning. Everyone had a good laugh. She smiled through it all,” wrote one mother.
Meanwhile, another clever mum dubbed the blowout a ‘poonami’ – which Esther described as the ‘best name ever’. As mums who have gone through it, we can wholeheartedly agree!
