Mum's festive treasure hunt for her kids is moving the internet to tears

Every mother wants to make Christmas Day as special as possible for her little ones, and it looks like one doting mum from Ireland was truly successful in her mission if a recent Facebook upload is anything to go by.

Giving friends and followers an insight into the festivities which unfolded in her family home on Christmas morning, Christine O’ Neill shared footage of her children’s extra-special festive treasure hunt.

Following her two beautiful children, Joshua and Saoirse, around their home as they hunted for and solved clues, Christine captured the incredibly touching moment they learned their efforts had not been in vain.

Cue shrieks of delight and tears of joy as they put the final piece of the puzzle together (And that was just us!)
