We’re definitely guilty here at MummyPages, of taking far too many pictures of our little ones; constantly telling them to stand still and smile, in the hopes of holding onto all those amazing memories.

However, this mum has proven that sometimes, letting kids be kids can be much more rewarding.

Photographer Juliet Cannici welcomed her second set of twins in January, and decided to put her skills to good use.

At just 11 days old, baby girls Gia and Gemma were the stars of their own photoshoot with big brother Nico and big sister Siena.

Renting adorable outfits for the group to wear, Juliet set up her home studio and got ready to capture some beautiful moments.

“I was so set on capturing Nico and Siena holding the babies in the outfits I had rented,” the mum-of-four told The Huffington Post.

“But Nico and Siena were SO bored with me, the photos looked terrible. I was disappointed.”

Deciding to abandon her plan, Juliet took the kids out of their rented costumes and let them play freely.

“They immediately held hands and wrapped the other arm around their baby sisters,” Juliet said.

“Several times a day, Nico and Siena each say, ‘I just love my baby sisters. I will keep them safe forever'.”

“I hope when people look at that photo they can see the true joy.”
