A woman, who is nine months pregnant, had a lucky escape yesterday after she fell onto train tracks while waiting at the 71st Street station in Brooklyn.

According to Daily News, the 33-year-old woman, who has not been named, said she felt dizzy before she fell onto the tracks at around 9am.

She was rescued by a number of good Samaritans before being taken to Lutheran Medical Center after complaining of a head injury.

The woman has since been released, according to New York’s PIX II.

This is not the first time good Samaritans have had to rescue a person in a train station; back in June, a man, who fell onto a track in New York, was rescued by a number of strangers just minutes before a train came hurtling past.

Journalist Sonai Rincon recorded the entire rescued because she wanted people to see how brave other can be.

At the time of this incident, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority warned people not to go onto the tracks and to stay away from the yellow line.
