While venting on Facebook may be an acceptable pastime for some people, it's important to consider your audience before launching into a foulmouthed rant against the individuals you work with.

One woman who learned this the hard way is 18-year-old nursery nurse, Hayley Neeson, who took to her social media page following her return to work this week.

In an uncensored rant, Hayley branded the children in her care 'w**kers' and "a*****es' in response to incidents where she claimed to have been bitten and spat upon.

The young woman, who is employed by the Forgewood Nursery Centre in Motherwell, has unsurprisingly caused outrage, with parents admitting they were 'disgusted' by Hayley's remarks.

Speaking to the Daily Record, one mother recalled the response Hayley's post had, saying: "People on her Facebook were outraged as soon as it went up and putting up comments saying they wouldn’t like their children to be at her nursery."

It is understood the young woman has been suspended as a result of her post while an investigation into the nursery has been launched.

Hayley has yet to comment on the controversy.
