Old Rectory children’s clothing has been awarded Gold in the Best Craft category in the National Start-Up Awards. The line was designed by Stephanie and Joanne Sloan from Co. Wicklow, who founded the line back in 2010.

Joanne and Stephanie are sisters who have both come from design backgrounds. They have seven sons between them so were able to apply both their experience and talent to create this clothing line that is of the highest quality and features timeless designs.

Old Rectory uses organic cotton throughout the collection and Oeko-tex certified dyes. All clothes are toxin free and kind to the environment. The materials used are also guaranteed to be kind to children’s delicate skin.

The collection of clothes and accessories feature illustrations that are both unique and beautiful. These illustrations were inspired by the sisters’ childhood on a farm, and so designs focus on nature and wildlife. Included in the collection is pyjamas, long sleeved t-shirts, baby rompers, blankets, baby bibs and hats.

Old Rectory is now stocked in 40 shops across Europe including the Avoca stores, Wooden Heart in Galway, Hide and Seek in Bray and Kaleidoscope in Westport. To see more of their full collection visit www.oldrectory.ie
