It is undoubtedly one of the most emotionally-charged songs of the past few decades, and many of us will admit to shedding a little tear when we hear Coldplay’s Fix You on the radio.
Can you imagine just how overwhelming it was, then, for two super-fans standing in the crowd and hearing it at a recent gig?
Luis Vazquez and his son have become viral internet sensations today, thanks to their beautifully raw reactions to witnessing Coldplay performing a rousing rendition of Fix You, in Mexico City.
Luis’ son has autism, and the magic of the moment is clear instantly, as the song starts up. Tears start to pour, and the little boy hardly knows what to do as the emotion of the song reaches his soul. His father, meanwhile, gets just as emotional as he spots his son’s reaction to the performance.
Luiz went on to share the video on YouTube, but the footage received worldwide attention when the band themselves shared a link to it.
