While the vast majority of couples hope their wedding snaps will stand out from the crowd, it's fair ro say that there appears to exist a tried and tested approach which most of us tend to opt for when it comes to our all-important day.

And while there's a lot to be said for the traditional route, one wedding photographer has made a name for himself by employing a different approach on a couple's special day.

As opposed to capturing the wedding party in the standard poses, Peter Adams-Shawn of Memories of Tomorrow tends to document the big day through the eyes of the couple and guests.

The Australian photographer, whose 'eyescape' approach has been garnering much attention online, explains that his incredibly captivating images are born of his interest in one particular light phenomenon, saying: "I've always had a thing for reflections."

Getting up close and personal with the wedding party and guests, Peter captures the significant moments of the day as they are reflected in the eyes of a couple's loved ones.

Unsurprisingly, images as unique as these don't come easy, with Peter explaining: "If you or the subject move a fraction of a millimeter, the focus is lost"

"The other challenge is making sure you’re not in the shot — I find about half the time a portion of my right elbow can slip into the shot," he said as he reflected on the images which have delighted members of the public,

Would these snaps be up your street?
